JAMMU : A civilian was killed and two army jawans were injured in an encounter along the international border between Pindi Post and Kanthar village in Arnia sub-sector here.
“A group of four to five militants this morning attacked the unit of Territorial Army deployed along the border,” sources here said.
“They lobbed a grenade on the bunker and later, opened fire which was retaliated,” sources said. “Two Army jawans sustained injuries in the ensuing gun-battle,” they said.
The operation was in progress and more details were awaited.
