SRINAGAR: A civilian injured in the May 7 Kulgam firing incident died in the hospital this morning, official sources said.
With this, the death toll in the incident has risen to 6. They said one Mohammad Hussain Dar was critically wounded when militants attacked a police party at Mir Bazar on Srinagar-Jammu national highway in Kulgam district.
Three civilians died, policeman was killed and several others were injured. A militant was also killed in retaliatory firing. Dar was admitted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, the sources said. (AGENCIES)
