JAMMU, Mar 6: Para Military Force CISF here today took over the security of Jammu Airport with a ceremonial welcome from Airports Authority of India (AAI) along with farewell to J&K Police and CRPF.
It is pertinent to mention here that J&K Police and CRPF were looking after security of Jammu Airport for more than three decades.
Airport Director, Dr. Pravat Ranjan Beuria handed over the security key to Gurjeet Singh, CASO, CISF in the presence of Vikram Singh Mann, Inspector General of CISF and Air Cmde.
A.S Pathania, AOC, IAF Jammu and other senior officers of Airlines, CRPF and J&K Police were also present on the occasion.
