CII takes up issues with Com Sec I&C

JAMMU, Nov 18: CII J&K delegation led by its Chairman Farooq Amin met Manoj Kumar Dwivedi Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
Farooq Amin discussed various issues being faced by the industrial units with respect to the pending payments and other development work including changing the name of the unit without any cost or levy by the establishment, abolish negative list with respect to the present and future Industrial Policy in J&K, price/ purchase preference and budgetary support to industries covered under inverted duty structure, quick disposal of cases filed with MSME Facilitation Council and Budgetary Support Under SRO 431 for the betterment of the industrial units in J&K.
There was a detailed discussion held over the problems being facing by the units.
Commissioner Secretary gave a patient hearing to all the issues and assured speedy actions over them.
Other members including Ravnish Gulati, Vice-Chairman, CII J&K, Sanjay Puri, Past-Chairman, CII J&K, Vicky Mahajan, Past Chairman, CII J&K and Abhinandan Sachdev, Member CII were also present during the meeting.
