JAMMU, July 3: A delegation of CII, J&K State Council called on Gyan Sarvar, Commissioner CGST on the completion of one year of the rolling out of the GST plan.
The delegation led by vice chairman of the J&K State Council Rajesh Sharma along with other members, apprised the Commissioner about the issues being faced by industrial members. The delegation requested him to take up the concern for making GST more compliant. They also requested to take up the issue for considering quarterly filing of invoice on priority basis.
In addition to the above, the delegation showed its concerns regarding the loss being borne by them in terms of goods and services like electricity, real estate which do not fall under the purview of GST structure due to which they are not able to utilize input tax credit benefit.
Gyan Sarvar gave a patient hearing to all the issues and assured speedy and timely action on the demands of CII members.
The delegation comprised of Rahul Sahai, former chairman, Sanjay Puri, former chairman, Harbinder Singh, Darshan Lal, Anish Abrol, secretary ICAI J&K, Shalay Razdaan, vice chairman, ICAI J&K, Jatinder Jaswal, treasurer ICAI J&K and Vivek Bhardwaj.
