JAMMU, Nov 28: The Cyber Investigation Centre for Excellence (CICE) Jammu in collaboration with Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society organised a comprehensive Cyber Awareness Programme aimed at educating residents about emerging online frauds/crimes and preventive digital safety measures.
The programme was jointly led by DySP Albeena Malik (SHO CICE JAMMU) and DySP Monika Thakur(DySP HQ) , who addressed participants on a wide range of critical cybercrime issues, including financial frauds, social media misuse, phishing attacks, Digital arrest, cyber slavery , pensions frauds (PPO), identity theft, online blackmailing,safe digital practices and 1930 helpline number.
The interactive programme witnessed active participation of about 100 senior citizens which included pensioner also who appreciated the efforts of the police officers in spreading awareness at the community level.The programme ended with a cyber safety pledge.
