CIC interacts with Sharda Radio, artists, staff

JAMMU, Apr 25: G R Sufi Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) today said that the culture and language plays an important role in binding the people together.
Mr Sofi who paid a visit to Sharda Radio while interacting with the staff, management and artists said Kashmiri culture is rich and it needs to be propagated among the youngsters especially the younger generation which is living outside the Valley for last 23 years due to unavoidable circumstances.
He assured all help to Pir Panchal (CESES) which is running the Sharda Radio and also appreciated Ramesh Hangloo its founder for setting up the Radio Station in Jammu for promotion and propagation of language especially among the displaced people to connect youngsters with their roots.
Earlier Mr Hangloo detailed him about the programme and the activists voluntary involved with this radio. He said it was because of the staff and volunteers including Manoj Jad, Rajesh Khar, J K Raina that Sharda Radio has come to the expectations of the its listeners so far as the content of its programmes is concerned.
Mr Sofi also gave certain suggestions to the Founder Director for the betterment of Radio Sharda. Later in a meeting of the Pir Panchal some new office bearers were inducted in the organization.
