JAMMU : The chopper service to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine was today suspended due to foggy weather conditions from Katra base camp in Reasi district.
“The chopper service remained suspended since morning due to fog and cloudy weather conditions prevailing all around in the Trikuta Hills,” an official here said.
He said that the service will resume only after the weather conditions will improve.
Meanwhile dense fog and intense cold conditions has badly affected the normal life across Jammu region.
Rail and air service also remained disrupted due to foggy conditions.
All trains are arriving and departing two to three hours late from its scheduled time, an official said. (AGENCIES)
