Now, the festival season is all set to begin with the beautiful festival of “Raksha Bandhan” and almost all the markets are beautifully decorated with the beautiful rakhis, kites and especially Chinese Gattu (Plastic thread for flying kites) and air balloons. The demand for this Chinese Gattu will be high due to its strength to hold the kite intact.
But it has proved very dangerous over the years as it has resulted in serious injuries to people getting entangled in it and some certainly have lost their precious lives as well. Moreover, the air balloons are not far behind this thread. These balloons can go anywhere in the sky and then on the ground and can cause fire accidents.
Most importantly when diplomatic relations of India are not good with China then in such a situation, promoting and using China made products is not all justified. The general public must not use these items due to the reasons associated with them. Moreover, the concerned authorities should take stringent measures to stop the sale and purchase of this banned thread and the disastrous balloons before it is too late.
