JAMMU, Nov 28: Chinar Primary School (CPS) today hosted its Annual Sports Meet, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students across all classes.
The event was graced by Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia, Principal, Sainik School Nagrota, who attended as the chief guest.
The programme commenced with Headmistress Dr Siji Shibu Joy presenting a comprehensive school report, outlining notable achievements made over the year. These included the establishment of a new Computer Lab, installation of ergonomic classroom furniture, improved academic performance, enhanced remedial support, expanded career awareness sessions, and significantly increased parental involvement in school activities.
Addressing the gathering, Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia praised the students for their discipline and exemplary sportsmanship, urging them to continue embracing sports as a vital component of their growth and overall personality development.
The Sports Meet showcased a vibrant lineup of athletic events and engaging fun races, reflecting the agility, coordination and cheerful spirit of the young participants. Special events organized for parents further strengthened the sense of community and warmth on the campus.
