JAMMU, Oct 20: The J&K government here today rechristened ‘Chief Minister’s Vigilance Medal’ to ‘Jammu and Kashmir Government Vigilance Medal’.
An order in this regard issued by Dr. Piyush Singla, Secretary to Government at General Administration Department, vide number 32-JK-GAD(Vig) of 2022 dated October 20, 2022 declared that the words ‘Chief Minister’s Vigilance Medal’ wherever appearing in the Government Order no. 95-GAD(Vig) of 2006 dated 29.12.2006, as amended from time to time, shall hereforth be read as ‘Jammu and Kashmir Government Vigilance Medal.’
It was further ordered that National Emblem shall be adopted on the said award.
