SRINAGAR, Oct 24: Chief Justice, Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed today inspected the District Court Complex, Moominabad and directed for optimum use of information technology and timely disposal of cases.
The Chief Justice was accompanied by Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir and Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey.
Registrar General, Registrar Vigilance, Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice and Chief Project Coordinator were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Justice Durrez directed to make the maximum use of Information Technology and also directed the courts to update the files in CIS so that there is timely dispensation of justice and the cause list is also generated properly.
He emphasized that this in-turn would help the litigants/general public in getting exact information regarding the status of their cases pending in different courts.
Later, the Chief Justice also interacted with the Bar Executive/Bar Members who projected charter of demands before him and the accompanied Judges which include construction of second phase of lawyers’ chambers and development of infrastructure within the court premises.
Justice Durrez assured the Bar Members that every endeavour will be made to fulfil the genuine demands of the Bar within the shortest possible time.
