JAMMU, Mar 27: VHP in its meeting at Ayodhya appointed Alok Kumar as president and R K Chhibber (Director, Jammu and Kashmir Bank) as Trustee of Vishwa Hindu Prishad (Globally ) for a period of three years .
This was stated in a handout issued here, today. The decision has been welcomed by a cross section of people. They termed Chhibber a hardworking, honest and a dedicated personality and a seasoned banker. They expressed the hope that Chhibber will work not only in India but global level in uniting Hindus and furthering the cause of Sanatan Dharma for the betterment of the society as a whole.
It may be recalled that earlier, he has also attended the Pran Pratishtha function at Ayodhya on January 22 this year along with his wife.
