Charak tours Bishnah constituency

BISHNAH, Sept 15:   To redress the grievances of commoners, senior Congress leader and former Minister, Gulchain Singh Charak today conducted an extensive tour of various villages in the Bishnah constituency along with the office bearers of Block Congress Committee.
During the tour, the villagers’ highlighted various problems being faced by them regarding roads, irrigation, electricity and agriculture and requested Charak for their early redressal.
While addressing the gathering at Chack Chimna, where people from adjoining villages were also present, Charak assured that the demands projected by the people of the villages will be taken up at the appropriate level for their early redressal.
He also assured them that the issue of road from Jakh to Arnia undertaken by the GREF Department will be taken up with the Union Minister for Defence, A K Antony, to expedite the pace of work so that the people of the area may not suffer any more.
Charak also highlighted various steps taken by the Congress Party like Food security Bill, Land Acquisition Bill and Pension Bill passed by the UPA Government, which he said will certainly benefit crores of people of the Country especially the downtrodden and people from weaker sections of the society.
He further said that the Bishnah constituency remained neglected for last so many years and there is no proper and planned development in whole of the Constituency right from Arnia to Bishnah.
The former Minister said that only Congress Party can provide justice to the people and equitable development of all the three regions of the State.
