BISHNAH, May 6:  A meeting of Block Congress Committee Bishnah was held here at party office under the chairmanship of Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and member CWC-AICC, to take stock of the problems of common people.
During the meeting, party workers highlighted problems being faced by the people of area regarding irrigation, electricity, healthcare, agriculture etc. and requested Charak for their early redressal.
Foremost demands made on the occasion included immediate posting of a doctor against the post, which fell vacant due to the retirement of one of the doctors in Public Health Centre Arnia, arrangement of Ambulance driver round the clock, generator for the PHC, providing X-ray and other necessary medical equipment in PHC and adequate transport facility for the people by plying additional buses from Arnia to Bishnah.
The workers further expressed need of one more Fire Brigade vehicle, as they said the harvesting season was on and there was always the danger of fire incidents in the fields but the Government had provided only one Fire Brigade vehicle for a vast area.
Charak immediately took up the issues with the authorities concerned and assured them to redress their demands within a minimum possible time.
