Charak launches ‘Jan Samparak’ programme

BISHNAH, Nov 22: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Gulchain Singh Charak has launched `Jan Samparak’ programme in  Bishnah constituency.
A large number of people including Congress leaders, businessmen, prominent citizens and party workers of the town participated. The `Jan Samparak Abhiyan’ was carried out on-foot from the Party office through the bazaars of the town. Overwhelming response of shopkeepers/common people towards Congress was observed during interactions of  Mr Charak with them.
The programme presented a festive look with people chanting slogans and waving party banners, placards, with tremendous enthusiasm and vigour, in support of  Gulchain Singh Charak. Posters and flags were distributed widely and hoisted at suitable places in the market.
At the culmination of the Abhiyan, Mr Charak appreciated the sentiments of the people and assured them that if he is elected to the Assembly, it will be his endeavor to serve the people of his constituency to the best. He reiterated his commitment to leave no stone unturned for the welfare and betterment of the people of this  constituency particularly taking into consideration the beautification of  Bishnah town by restoring the regular electricity, safe drinking water, maintenance of  lanes and drains of the town which are full of garbage and in un-hygienic condition. He asserted that efforts will be made to provide a park and establish walk ways on the banks of the local canal.  He sought public support to win elections.
