Channelize youth energy for making strong India: Sadhotra

JAMMU, Feb 2: Former minister and senior leader of National Conference (NC), Ajay Sadhotra today emphasized the need of channelizing youth energy for making strong India.
He was addressing a function to facilitate players of Khalsa Cricket Club, Gole Gujral, who participated in Sikh Premier League played at Mumbai and won the final match.
Sadhotra said it is the need of the hour to channelize youth in right direction so that our youth could make our country strong. Youth should dedicate themselves for making strong India. But nation should also ensure that every youth could make his both ends meet honourably. It will be the right step in right direction to ensure tomorrow’s India a strong India, he added.
“Only lip service will give fillip to frustration. Every announcement from the Government for youth should be practical and implemented in letter and spirit. Our youth needs a large number of employment avenues. If our country could work successfully on employment front then in coming days our country will be even stronger than America,” he asserted.
He demanded a mini stadium at every Panchayat level so that youth could spend its spare time in right direction and also demanded to increase the percentage of reservation in recruitment in civil as well as in forces for sportsmen. Sadhotra also demanded that work of Sports Stadium should be done on war footing at Baba Zulla as youth of Gole Gujral have no proper cricket ground to play.
On the occasion, a Cricket Kit and T-Shirts were given to every player of Khalsa Cricket Club.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Kulwant Singh (Ex-Panch), Inder Pal Singh (Ex-Sarpanch), Gajinder Singh, Amreek Singh Roshan, Joginder Singh (Ex-Sarpanch), Kamal Jeet Singh (Ex-Panch), Bikram Singh (Ex- Panch) and Harvinder Singh (Ex-Naib Sarpanch).
