Chamber organizes interactive session with Bar, Press Club members

JAMMU, Apr 11: Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu today organized an interactive session with the Members of the Bar Association Jammu and the members of Management Committee of Press Club Jammu to discuss various burning issues relating to Jammu province. Threadbare discussions were held on all the burning issues and strategy was chalked out as how to get these issues resolved.
Generally it was observed that right from the small to genuinely big issues pertaining to Jammu Province, the authorities have failed to address even a single issue out of them.  Chamber of Commerce & Industry President  Rakesh Gupta suggested that CCI, Media and the Bar Association should come on a common platform to unitedly fight for the causes of Jammu region.
While welcoming the members of the Bar Association as well as the Member of Press Club Jammu Rakesh Gupta said that it is a beginning to bring the civil society of Jammu on a platform to agitate for justice and genuine issues being confronted by the residents of this region whether the issues are pertaining to business community or the civil society or against the social evils.
Appreciating the initiative taken by Chamber of Commerce & Industry for bringing Jammu Civil Society on a single platform. Abhinav Sharma, President Bar Association Jammu said that there is need to create awareness among all the sections of the society to get the basic issues resolved. He further said that Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu, Bar Association Jammu and Press Club of Jammu have to play a very important role to resolved the burning issues.
Prominent among others present in the meeting also include  Sham Lal Langer, Sr. Vice President CCI,  Arun Gupta, secretary general CCI,  Rahul Mahajan, Secretary CCI,  Ashu Gupta, Treasurer,   Ashwani Kumar, President Press Club Jammu, Abhimanyu Sharma , Vice President Press Club Jammu,  Zorwar Singh Jamwal, secretary general Press Club Jammu
