JAMMU, Oct 7: Panun Kashmir said the  raising of issue J&K’s relationship with the rest of India at a time when Pakistan has become proactive on the borders and trying to push more and more terrorist is nothing but seditious.
European Ambassadors visiting the State should have been used to convey the concerns of the State regarding Pakistan sponsored proxy war instead of feeding them with confused and outdated ideas of the secessionism, PK president, Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, M L Raina, chairman of its Political Affairs Committee and Virender Riana its general secretary told reporters here today.
Such actions on the part of political leadership of the State would give flip to the already restive situation prevailing in the State and would also encourage the other political parties also to this phenomenon of competitive secessionism.
Ashwani Chrungoo said that PK also notes with serious concern that instead of implementing the recommendations of the 137th report of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs, the Government was working to stage manage a sham  return of KPs to the Valley to hoodwink the national opinion in this regard. The PM’s special employment package is mired in all kinds of difficulties and the really needed youth of the community have become over aged in the process, he added.
He said the Government itself admitted in Parliament that not a single KP returned under the PM’s Rs 1600 crore package. He maintained that during their meeting with Union Home Secretary the issue regarding construction of clusters and revised package of Rs 5000 crore was not discussed with them.
During the press conference PK leaders also released Panun Kashmir News letter and announced to organise annual yatra to Anandpur Sahib and Chamkaur from this year.
