JAMMU, Jan 22: Crime Branch, Jammu today produced challan against two cheats for preparing fake/fabricated documents of vehicles.
The accused, namely Rajinder Singh alias Guddu of Rani Talab Digiana Jammu and Surinder Pal Singh of Ajit Nagar Jammu are charged with for preparing fake Route Permit, Registration Certificate, Fitness Certificate and fake (GR) receipts of vehicle bearing Registration number JK02A-4411
The case in this regard, under Section 420, 467, 468, 471, 201, 120-B RPC at Police Station Crime Branch, Jammu was registered on the directions of Presiding Officer M A C T (District Judge) Rajouri in the claim petition titled Mohd Iqbal and others V/s Bachan Singh and others of Tribunal involving Truck JK02A-4411. The insurer, Oriental Insurance Company Ltd produced a certificate issued to the investigator by Regional Transport Officer, Jammu showing that the vehicle bearing Registration number JK02A-4411 is a motorcycle Yamaha and not a truck.
During the course of investigation, it was found that accused persons in connivance with each other hatched a criminal conspiracy and prepared fake documents and sold the same vehicle to different persons on these fake documents.
