KATHUA, July 17: The villagers of Chak Desa Singh today protested against the encroachment of local pond and have urged the authorities to restore the land of the pond immediately failing which they will intensify the agitation.
The protestors have also submitted a memorandum to DC Kathua and urged him that the land of all ponds in the area be notified to save it from encroachers.
