JAMMU, Mar 27: Chairman and CEO, J&K Bank Parvez Ahmed launched pension scheme for the employees of J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) during an event organized here today.
Other dignitaries present during the event include RK Chhibber, Executive President, J&K Bank, Sunil Gupta President, J&K Bank, Janak Raj Angural Chairman, JKGB, Jeetendra Bharadwaj GM HO JKGB and Mohammad Ayoub Khan GM GMOK, JKGB.
The chief guest on the occasion, Parvez Ahmed cautioned that with the implementation of this scheme, an additional cost towards pension is to be borne by the Bank for which utmost dedication and commitment from each and every employee of the Bank will be required to ensure irrevocable path of growth and development for the Bank.
Janak Raj Angural, Chairman, J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB), in his speech said that this demand was much sought after from the employees of Regional Rural Banks all over the country and its launch gives an immense joy as it will benefit all JKGB employees and their families. He said that with its implementation, job satisfaction among the employees will be enhanced and it should also be reflected in their productivity i.e. increasing the income and profit for the Bank in the long run.
RK Chhibber, Executive President, J&K Bank as well as Former Chairman, JKGB said that the launching of pension scheme for JKGB employees will act as a catalyst for the morale of employees and, thereby, making them deliver their best for their organization.
Sunil Gupta, President, J&K Bank while speaking on the occasion said that the launch of this scheme will be recorded as a historic moment in the years to come.
On the occasion, a jumbo cheque was also disbursed on account of pension to PC Angurala, senior most pensioner of the bank. Further, other 180 pensioners were also handed over authority letters, thereby, sharing the details of their first pension.
Mohammad Ayoub Khan, GM ROK, JKGB, Vipan Gupta, HOD FIID, JKGB, KL Sharma, HOD HRDD, JKGB, Rashpal Choudhary, General Secretary, JKGB Officers Union and Ramdev Sharma, one of the retirees also expressed their views.
In the end, Jeetendra Bharadwaj, GM HO, JKGB presented vote of thanks.
