KATHUA, Nov 16: In order to implement the directions passed by Chief Justice J&K and patron in chief of J&K Legal Services Authority, a meeting was held here, today in the office chamber of Principal District and Session Judge Kathua, Pawan Dev Kotwal who is also chairman District Legal Authorities Kathua.
The meeting was attended by Jatinder Singh Jamwal Additional District & Session Judge, Kathua, SSP Kathua, Shridhar Patil, Member Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Kathua, Mrs Aarti Mohan.
The agenda of the meeting was the condition of the lock up at District Court Kathua. During the meeting a visit was also made to the lock up and the chairman immediately directed the SSP, Kathua to provide sitting facilities in the lock up. He also found the condition of the toilet in the lock up below the prescribed standard and directed the SSP Kathua to provide all basic facilities and also ensure that the sanitary condition of the lock up are up to the mark.
The chairman also passed directions to SSP to provide all basic facilities in all the lock ups and jails of district Kathua.
