NEW DELHI: A ceremonial border personnel meeting (BPM) between India and China was today held in Ladakh where ways to ensure peace on the border was discussed.
“Indian delegations attend Ceremonial BPM opp Eastern Ladakh hosted by People’s Republic of China on the occasion of its 67th anniversary,” Northern Command of Indian Army said in a tweet.
The Indian delegations were led by Major General Sudharkar and Col B S Uppal while Chinese delegations by Senior Colonel Zhang Jung Yong & Colonel Song Zhan Li respectively, a defence spokesman said in Jammu.
The 67th anniversary of founding of the People’s Republic of China was celebrated by exchange of greeting and good wishes and saluting the national flag of China by both the delegations members, he said. (AGENCIES)
