RAMBAN, Oct 7: The salaries of two Headmasters (HMs) of two Government schools were withheld by the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Ramban Mohammad Sharief Chouhan for remaining absent from duty.
As per official spokesperson, CEO Ramban Mohammad Sharied Chouhan paid a surprise visit to Government Middle School (GMS) Parnote and Government High School (GHS), Gam.
During visit, CEO found headmasters namely Raj Rani of GMS, Parnote and Khaliq Hussain of GHS, Gam absent from duty.
CEO directed them to explain their position and withheld their salaries till they submit their explanation.
