REASI, May 22: Chief Education Officer Reasi, J R Bhardwaj today conducted surprise inspection of some schools and ordered punitive action against two Headmasters and three teachers for unauthorized absent and dereliction of duty.
The CEO stopped the salaries of Vikramjeet Anand, Headmaster Government High School Kundra, Shiv Saran Khajuria, Sanjay Kumar and Saneha Kumari, all the teachers of this school for their unauthorized absence.
In Government Migrant Middle School Talwara, the salary of Incharge Headmaster, Parkash Singh was also ordered to be stopped for dereliction of duty.
Incharge and staff of Government High School Panassa were directed to maintain cleanliness in the School and the same would be reviewed next week.
Explanations of all these erring officials have been called and they have been asked to clear their position to proceed further in the matter.
The CEO along with Virender Dutta, Sr Lecturer DIET Reasi, paid surprise visit to Govt High School Kundra, Govt Primary School Shipprian, Govt Middle School Dera Baba, Govt High School Pannasa, Govt Middle School for Migrants Talwara.
