KATRA, July 31: Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Ramesh Kumar visited the College of Nursing established by the Shrine Board at Kakryal and took stock of its functioning. He was accompanied by Dr Sunil Sharma, Dy CEO, SMVDSB who is also Administrator of SMVDCoN.
The Chief Executive Officer interacted with the faculty and students of second passing out batch. While communicating with the faculty, CEO appreciated the efforts for arranging and maintaining online teaching learning classes for the students since lockdown and conducting continuous evaluation methodology in terms of preparing the students for their examination. The students expressed their satisfaction towards the quality education being provided by the college and gratitude for arranging campus placement drive.
CEO asked the Principal to tie-up with various leading healthcare institutions in the country for arranging placements for the passing out students.
CEO emphasized on maintaining the level of quality education in the field of nursing as the SMVDCoN is known as an institution of high quality and standards. The Nursing College has a highly qualified faculty and is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure like hi-tech smart classrooms, modern labs and a well-stocked library with the facility of on-line journals and, besides, a well-furnished hostel and facilities for hygienically prepared balanced food.
The Principal of the college also briefed the CEO about the progress achieved in the past in academic and infrastructural development and the initiatives presently underway.
