JAMMU, May 31: Chief Executive Officer Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA), Farooq Ahmad Lone chaired a meeting of senior officers of the line departments to consolidate the list of projects to be recommended for Jammu and Kashmir Infrastructure Development Program (JKIDP) to be funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The proposed projects include various water supply projects, projects for addressing traffic congestion in Jammu city, various sewerage and drainage projects and environmental and solid waste management projects. Asian Development Bank mission will be visiting the State for finalizing the JKIDP in the third week of June.
The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer PHE, Director ERA Jammu, Director ERA Safeguards, representatives from JMC, JDA, UEED, PW (R&B) and other officers of ERA and line departments.
Later CEO visited the sites of ongoing sewerage and water supply sub-projects being executed by ERA under JKUSDIP and directed for early completion of sub-projects.
