UDHAMPUR, Mar 8: A distribution camp was held under the chairmanship of Balbir Singh, Chief Education Officer, Udhampur wherein assistance devices were distributed to hearing impaired children.
50 hearing impaired children out of 469 assessed children got the assistance devices under inclusive Education for Disabled (IED) component of SSA. Children from different zones of district attended the camp along with their parents.
CEO, Udhampur while addressing the gathering informed the parents and Children With Special Needs (CWSN) about the different schemes under SSA.
Chief Education Officer asked the CWSN to take care of their health by having good and balanced diet. Children as well as parents were also provided refreshment and to and fro charges.
