JAMMU, May 19: The Central Sanskrit University, a renowned Sanskrit teaching and research Institute having 13 campuses spread across 12 States in the country, has been awarded A++ grading by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
With this, the Central Sanskrit University has become the only Sanskrit University in India to get ‘A ++’.
NAAC evaluation of the university was done on April 24-27 and the result was declared today. The seven-member NAAC team that visited various campuses of the university, also praised the academic and administrative management of the Central Sanskrit University.
Prof Madan Mohan Jha, Director of Shri Ranbir Campus Jammu, said that Central Sanskrit University getting A++ grade in NAAC assessment is certainly a matter of pride . “This achievement is inspirational for other Sanskrit universities of the country. That’s why universities should continue their efforts to improve the quality of their teaching and work system till they get the highest grade,” he added and gave full credit to the hard work of teachers, employees and the cooperation received at every step by the University Headquarters and NAAC Core Team.
