Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Mar 4: Central Committee members of All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) met here today under the chairmanship of its president Abdul Majid Malik in which problems of the OBCs were discussed.
All the speakers and participants emphasized over the early OBC -survey in the State and appealed all the Deputy Commissioners to expedite the process of OBC -survey in the State in view of Divisional Commissioner Jammu’s order No 402/GS/OBC/1853 under the subject conduct of survey in respect of OBCs in the State.
All the participants expressed their anguish over the delay in this matter as “no hectic activities” are being seen of the Government order. District Social Welfare Officer’s reply when approached under the direction of district Statiscal Officer Jammu, denied of receipt of any such letter of survey, pinched the members.
Besides, all the participants also appealed both the Divisional Commissioners of Jammu as well as Kashmir provinces for earliest OBC survey in the State. The present show of delaying the process after the lapse one month of Government order, shows that the concerned officers are least bothered in the OBC survey and hence not obeying the Government order.
M R Bangotra and Prof Kali Dass also shared their views in the meeting.
