CEC distributes appointment orders among ReT Teachers

KARGIL, July 3: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan along with the Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary today distributed appointment orders among 270 Regular Rehbar-e-Taleem (RReT) Teachers who have been converted as Teacher Grade II.
The CEC and the DC gave away the appointment orders in a function held at Auditorium Hall Kargil.
Chief Education Officer Kargil Nazir Ahmed Wani, Deputy Chief Education Officer Kargil Muhammad Mussa, Principal DIET Kargil Muhammad Ali Bhuttoo, ZEOs and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the CEC expressed hope that they will work with added zeal and dedication by enhancing the standard of teaching learning process in the Government schools.
The CEC said that the LAHDC is committed to strengthen the education sector in the district which is among its top most priorities and a number of concrete measures are underway which are expected to have fruitful results.
Addressing the teachers, the Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary congratulated the teachers on their promotion as Teacher Grade II.
Baseer said that teachers who are aptly called the builders of nation have a greater responsibility in creating the desirable and efficient citizens of tomorrow. He said that teachers need to endeavour to be real role models for their students.
The DC also proposed an optional 50: 50 formula for the maintenance of basic facilities in schools like establishment of model classrooms, maintenance of water and toilet facilities and other infrastructural components with active participation from school management particularly female teachers. He said that 50% funding would be given by the Administration while as rest of the 50% would be solicited from the community.
