JAMMU, Sept 15: An Awareness camp on rice use was organised by the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Jammu, Kailash Devi in collaboration with Path foundation at Trikuta Bhawan, Amphalla.
On the occasion, District Program Officer, Jammu, Renu Bhasin was the chief guest, Ranbireshwar Singh Jamwal, CDPO Dansal and Mohit Bharti, CDPO Kot Bhalwal were the special Invitees. The Supervisors, Anganwadi Workers and Beneficiariesof Poshan Project Jammu were also present.
Lecture on rice fortification was delivered by Kumar Gourav from Path Foundation, the CDPO Jammu, highlighted the importance of Poshan (Nutrition), so that the Nutritional status among beneficiaries of Anganwadi Centres can be improved.
Different nutrition items were also displayed which were prepared in the Anganwadi Centres. DPO Jammu also spoke about the ongoing Poshan Maah and it’s importance.The Program ended with vote of thanks by CDPO Jammu.
