Srinagar, Apr 21: Taking a strong note of the unscheduled power cuts in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir, the Chamber of Commerce Industry Kashmir (CCIK) today expressed concerns stating that the erratic power schedule at Sehri and Iftar was unfortunate.
In a statement issued here, the CCIK President Tariq Ghani said that the unscheduled power cuts in Ramadan, particularly during Sehri and Iftar, cause a lot of inconvenience to people.
“Due to frequent power cuts, people face huge problems in carrying out their religious obligations. The Shab-e-Qadar is nearing, KPDCL should ensure sufficient supply of electricity,” he said.
CCIK President has appealed to the LG Manoj Sinha to intervene in the matter and ensure people get continuous electricity.
