JAMMU, May 16: The Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI), Jammu, in association with Healing Hands successfully organized a free disease screening camp for the welfare of the general public and the business community at Chamber House, Jammu.
The chief guest Dr Rakesh Minhas, Dy Commissioner Jammu was welcomed and felicitated by the Chamber team headed by Arun Gupta by presenting a flower bunch, Shawl and a memento. The camp was formally inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner Jammu, who appreciated the efforts of CCI Jammu in organizing such a meaningful healthcare initiative for society. He also praised the team of doctors for providing their selfless services to the society and felicitated them by presenting Mata ki Chunri and mementos. Senior members of the Chamber, prominent citizens, traders, industrialists, and medical professionals were also present on the occasion.
A team of reputed doctors and specialists including Dr Rajesh Gupta, Dr Neeraj Mahajan, Dr Puneeta Gupta, Dr Ankit Mahajan, Dr Shally Kandhari, Dr Satyanker Gupta, and Dr Deepak Pathania provided medical consultations and screening services during the camp.
The screening camp offered a wide range of diagnostic and health check-up facilities including Fibro Scan, Spirometry, HbA1c, Neuropathy Test, Lipid Profile, BMD Test, ECG, Blood Pressure, Uric Acid & Hb, Thyroid, Vitamin-D, Hepatitis-B, Ophthalmology Consultation, Dietician Consultation, and KFT tests.
Speaking on the occasion, president CCI Jammu, Arun Gupta expressed profound gratitude to Dy Commissioner Jammu for sparing his valuable time for inaugurating free diseases screening camp. He also thanked the doctors for rendering their valuable services to the Members of CCI and the general public. More than 350 persons availed the facility of free disease screening checkup.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the business community as well as local residents, reflecting the growing awareness about healthcare.
