JAMMU, July 27: The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) today quizzed former Deputy Commissioner Kathua Ajay Singh Jamwal in connection with a FIR registered against Educational Trust of former Minister Choudhary Lal Singh.
Sources said Jamwal had served as the Deputy Commissioner Kathua for three months only from May to August 2015.
As per the preliminary investigations conducted by the CBI, the land encroachment had taken place during the tenure of three Deputy Commissioners in Kathua district.
Two other DCs and Revenue officials involved in the case will be grilled during the course of investigations, sources said.
They added that it was also being ascertained as to whether some record pertaining to land has gone missing from the revenue record.
