He however refused to divulge more details about the case and said that the challan will be produced against all the seven arrested persons including two cops, two SPOs, two students and one former Revenue employee who happens to be the father of one of the students who was arrested by Crime Branch from Meerut where he was studying.
Meanwhile, the fast unto death of four women at Koota morh who replaced the other four yesterday after their condition deteriorated and they were shifted to hospital by the police continued today.
The protesters supported by Hindu Ekta Mancha (HEM)are demanding handing over of the Rassana murder case to CBI to ascertain facts and punish the real culprits responsible for the murder and kidnapping of minor girl Asifa. They alleged that the police was unnecessarily  harassing the innocent villagers.
They said that the thorough CBI probe will ascertain the facts and can give justice to the slain girl. However the condition of one woman Vaishno Devi, 66,  who was hospitalised yesterday deteriorated today and she was shifted to GMC Jammu for specialised treatment.
HEM which is spearheading the agitation said that the peaceful protest will continue till the demand is conceded and innocent people are not harassed.
Agitated over the callous and lackadaisical attitude of the unholy combine of the BJP-PDP towards the people of Hiranagar and village Rassana in particular,  the activists of  ‘Mahila Panthers’ along with several women protestors of village Rassana led by Manju Singh general secretary JKNPP gheroed the Minister Abdul Haq Khan, MoS Priya Sethi and local MLA Kuldeep Raj at R.K Resort at Jatwal today. The angry women activists while showing ‘black flags’ to the ministers,  demanded transfer of the child homicide case to CBI for impartial investigation so that the actual offenders of the brutal crime will be apprehended, punished and the innocent people were liberated from police atrocities and harassment. Raising slogans against BJP , they closed the main gate of the R.K Resort and squatted on the lawns of the Resort.
Sensing trouble and gauging the fury of the protesters, the ministers and MLA beat a hasty retreat. Manju Singh said that instead of listening to the demand of the people of Hiranagar seeking transfer of the Rassana murder case to the CBI, the Ministers and the local MLA boarded their vehicles and ran away. “This is shameful. The so called representatives have no guts to face the genuine protestors who had been sitting on ‘fast unto death’. It has established the fact that the Ministers of BJP and PDP had no guts to face truth and they were only enjoying the power joyride and were least bothered about the miserable plight of their own people”, Manju regretted.
Perturbed by the deteriorating health condition of the Rassana protestors at Kootah Morh in Hiranagar, she enquired about the well being of Anjana Devi, Trishla Devi, Darshana Devi and Sushma Devi who had collapsed yesterday and were forcefully admitted in the hospital for medical intervention. Addressing the gathering, she said that BJP had bartered away the aspirations of the people of Hiranagar for remaining glued to power which was ‘ephemeral’. They shall be routed and decimated ‘permanently’ by the people in the days to come, dismayed Manju said. She added that Panthers Party shall not relent until the demand of CBI probe into the murder case was conceded by the Government.
Adv. Kesar Praveen State Secretary JKNPP said that Mahila Panthers were well versed with the agony and trauma the women including mothers, sisters and daughters of Hiranagar were going through.
