Career Point students outperform in JEE Main

Career Point students celebrating their success in JEE Main result.

JAMMU, July 4: Students of Career Point, a leading coaching institute in the domain of JEE and NEETUG, have performed well in JEE- 2013 as 8542 students of the institute have been qualified for the counseling.
According to Pramod Maheshwari, CEO and MD of the Career Point, out of 8542 qualified students, 7295 are from regular classroom contact program and 1247 from distance learning program.
In general category, Career Point’s three students secured positions in top 100 AIRs including Rana Ranveer Singh (AIR 14), Anoop Kumar (AIR 53) and Tushar Dhamani (AIR 89), he added.
Total 11 students have secured ranks in top 500 AIRs whereas 23 students are in top 1000 AIRs.
In OBC category, total 24 students secured positions in top 500 all India ranks and 42 students are in top 1000 positions. In ST category, Career Point’s 4 students have secured positions in top 100 AIRs. 16 students are in top 500 positions including Gaurav Charnawat (AIR-4 and State Category Rank-1 in Rajasthan) at all India level and 17 students are in SC category.
Many students from Career Point secured ranks in top 10 positions in various state ranks. In general category students from Career Point secured 1st position in Gujarat, 3rd position in Orissa and Kerala, 4th position in Gujarat, Tripura, Rajasthan and Nagaland, 6th position in Meghalaya, 7th position in Tripura and Nagaland, 8th position in Orissa, 9th position in Tripura and Jharkhand and 10th position in Punjab.
Shailendra Maheshwari, Academic Director, Career Point said that all the students attributed their success to the logical system of Career Point.
New batches for class 11th to class 12th pass students will be starting from July 10, 2013, he informed.
