JAMMU, Mar 27: ‘Care North”, the first psychological centre in J&K is organizing a 2-day creative inter- active workshop which would focus on training teachers and budding psychologist in the State on “Basics of Counseling Skills and Counseling Micro Skills” on April 8 here at Amar Singh Club.
The workshop will be organized under the banner of ‘Care North’ and ‘PSYUNI’ Delhi. The recourse persons for the workshop would be Dr Ashutosh (Executive Director, PSYUNI) and Dr Chand Trehan (Director, Care).
This was revealed by Dr Chand Trehan, Director, Care North, a renowned psychologist and counselor of J&K with a vast experience in the psychological field and winner of numerous awards at State and National level, in a press meeting held here today.
He said that the workshop would enhance the counseling skills of the participants whose learning till date is only knowledge based. “The workshop would also give a platform to many professionals to show case their talent and expertise”, he added.
