Cardiology camp organized at Dulhasti Hospital

KISHTWAR, July 13: NHPC, Dulhasti Power Station, in association with Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, organised a multi-speciality Health Camp in Power Station Hospital.
The camp was inaugurated by S Kalgaonkar, Executive Director, Regional Office, Jammu, in presence of P K Langer, General Manager, Dulhasti Power Station, H Bulchandani Chief Engineer (Civil), Rajil Vyas, Chief Engineer (Elect), R K Verma, Senior Manager (HR), Dr Pooja Gupta, DCMO, Dr Dheeraj Sharma, ACMO and staff members of various departments.
Apollo Hospital Doctors led by Dr Shubendu Mohanty, DM Cardiology, Dr Vibhu Bahl, Senior Consultant Orthopaedics and their team examined around 170 patients. The ECG was done for 70 patients and required consultation was given accordingly. Around 35 X-Rays were done and other tests like blood sugar fasting, lipid profile etc were performed. Local residents as well as NHPC employees and their dependents were the main beneficiaries. In the evening, a Continuous Medical Education (CME) programme was held which was attended by Medical Superintendent, I/c CMO and other Senior /Specialists doctors of Kishtwar Town. The event was appreciated by entire Medical fraternity.
