Cardamom weakens on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Jan 20: Cardamom prices fell by Rs 10 per kg at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today owing to slackened demand.
Cardamom brown Jhundiwali and brown-Kanchicut were trading down Rs 10 each to settle at Rs 740-760 and Rs 800- 1,100 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said subdued domestic as well as export demand against adequate stock positions mainly weighed on cardamom prices.
