JAMMU, Aug 10: Narwal Police seized a car with fake registration number.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a man namely Vinay Kumar Verma, son of Roshan Lal Verma, a resident of Trikuta Nagar with Police Post Narwal stating that some unidentified person is plying a car in the jurisdiction of Narwal with the registration number, which already stands registered on the name of his wife.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 283/2021 under relevant Sections was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Post Narwal led by SI Achal Rana under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Deepak Pathania seized the car having fake registration number.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
