Capsule course on Battalion Affairs concludes

SRINAGAR, Mar 12: In order to increase the working capabilities of the officers and officials, a “One Week Capsule Course on Battalion Affairs” was organised at Battalion Headquarters of IRP 11th Battalion at Anantnag, which concluded today.
Sandeep Mehta Commandant IR 11th Battalion was the chief guest on the occasion. The Capsule Course was coordinated by Dy CO IR 11th Battalion and the nominated participants from all the Coys of IR 11th Battalion participated in this course.
The main objective of the course was to familiarize and refresh the police officers and officials of the Unit with the performance of their day-to-day duties enabling them to enhance their professional capabilities as well.
While addressing the participants on the valediction of the week-long capsule course at Unit Headquarters Anantnag, the Commandant IR-11th Battalion laid emphasis on capacity building and professional approach of working.
The participants while speaking on the occasion highlighted the benefits of the course and desired to continue such courses from time to time in future too.
Further to meet out the emergent financial needs of the officials, a Unit Welfare Committee Meeting was held at Battalion Headquarter under the chairmanship of its Commandant Sandeep Mehta, in which an amount of Rs 8.30 lakh was disbursed among the 21 deserving officials and Officers of IRP 11th Battalion Anantnag as welfare measures for J&K Police personnel.
The amount has been sanctioned out of Unit Welfare Fund.
