CAPD denies sugar supply to public

JAMMU,  Oct 26: Channi Himmat Residents Association has alleged that CAPD authorities have denied levy sugar  and rice to the general public.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of V K Grover, advocate,  the members  expressed their deep anguish over the erratic supply of  ration in Jammu city for the last couple of months. They alleged that for the last two months, there was no sugar supply and CAPD has failed to provide levy sugar even on the festival of Diwali. There is no supply of rice as well. The ration dealers who are at the receiving end due to public out  cry blame the authorities for not allocating and distributing assigned quota despite making payments in advance.
They appealed  to the Chief Minister and the Dy Chief Minister to intervene personally  and take serious review of this department as the people at the helm of affairs including the concerned minister have miserably failed to deliver essential supplies to the public in the State.
