JAMMU, Mar 1: Up in arms against introduction of written test by the Service Selection Board for the technical posts like Typists and Stenographers, a number of candidates boycotted the test.
They raised slogans against the Government and SSB for introducing the written test even for technical posts.
The agitating candidates sought to justify their boycott by claiming that performance of a Typist or Steno is judged from his speed in the particular skill and not the excellence in a written test of general knowledge or other subjects.
They also appealed the Government and SSB to review its decision on written test for the technical posts.
