JAMMU, June 29: Citizen Advisory Forum (CAF) held a meeting under the patronage of Justice Retd KK Gupta.
The meeting was attended by Arvind Mahajan of KC Group, Vijay Saraf Secretary Amar Singh Club, Advocate Ratan Lal Gupta Ex MLC, Kiran Watal Former Commissioner JMC, Jugal Mahajan social activist and Chief Patron Central Mahajan Sabha, Er CP Gupta of Hotel Rivera, IGP (Rtd) PK Gupta, Capt Anil Gour of Master Tours, Er Vinod Luthra Former CE, Er Vinod Sharma, Er KK Bhakhri, Satish Jain Industrialist and others.
Chairman Citizen Advisory Forum IC Jandial expressed concern and anguish over the prevailing situation in Kashmir Valley.
During discussion, Jugal Mahajan asked the misled youth of certain areas of valley to bring back normalcy. He also appealed to State and Central Governments to handle the situation with sensitivity.
Advocate Ratan lal Gupta appealed to Kashmir Bar Association to lead the peace restoring mission in valley.
Kiran Watal hoped that locals of Kashmir will also help in ensuring peaceful Amarnath Yatra.
Er CP Gupta, Arvind Mahajan, Capt Anil Gaur and Manish Gupta also expressed their views.
Justice KK Gupta appealed to State and Central Governments to not allow any laxity while dealing with anti-national elements and extend full co-operation and free hand to security forces in maintaining law and order.
