JAMMU, Oct 2: Bharatiya Yog Sansthan (BYS) celebrates 2nd October as Yog Divas every year. This is one of the six main annual events of the Sansthan.
In Jammu the main function was held at Yog Ashram Gole Gujral Jammu. Dr Raghav Langer, Secretary Planning, Development and Monitoring was the chief guest on the occasion. More than three hundred Yog sadhaks from Jammu surrounding areas and Udhampur participated in the Samohik Yog Sadhna. Satyapal Prantiya Pradhan J&K informed on this occasion that in J&K more 120 Yog Kendras are being run by Yog Sansthan, where daily Yog Sadhna is practised free of any cost. He further informed that this year Sansthan celebrated Yog Utsav in the month of September,2022 at all the Yog Kendras. Trophies were presented to Channi Himmat evening class as best Kendra of Bahu district and Devak zone of Baba Jitto district.
Dr Raghav Langer appreciated the role of Bharatiya Yog Sansthan for rendering selfless service to spread the knowledge of yoga amongst common masses.
On this occasion Samohik Sadhna was performed. Vote of thanks was presented by Arun Pachnanda, vice president Bharatiya Yog Sansthan.
