BWWA organizes lectures on Fin Literacy, Fitness

JAMMU, Mar 12: BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) Jammu today organised lectures on Financial Literacy and Fitness for the welfare and benefits of BSF families.
The lectures were delivered by BSF officers-Ashish Sharma, Assistant Commandant (IT) and Dr. Versha Tiwari, Assistant Commandant (MO).
A large number of BSF families and their wards participated in the event.
A handout stated that BWWA endeavour has always been to organize lectures to educate and aware BSF families on subjects which play important role in their life.
“Therefore two separate lectures were organized-one on Financial Literacy and the other on fitness, quality tips on healthy eating habits among women and their wards by the professionals,” BWWA stated in the handout.
On this occasion, Sunita Boora, president, BWWA Jammu said that Association is always committed to organize such informative lectures from time to time for the benefits of BSF families.
She further said: “Our ladies need to keep themselves alert and prevent themselves from falling victim to online financial frauds.”
She also emphasized on adopting healthy eating habits.
These lectures were part of half yearly BWWA calendar.
