BWF Rankings: Kidambi in top 10, Sindhu slips to No 5

NEW DELHI: Indian shuttler Srikanth Kidambi has entered into top 10 standing at number eight, according to the latest BWF Rankings released today.

The ace shuttler hailing from Guntur is in his best shape after winning  back-to back tournaments like Indonesian Open and Australian Open garnering 58,583 points. After moving three places up is the only Indian to feature in top 10 in men’s singles.

Other Indian men’s shuttlers B Sai Praneeth is at 15th, while Ajay Jayaram stands at 16th. HS Prannoy also dropped two places to be 23rd. In women’s singles, PV Sindhu dropped a rung to be world No 5, while Sania Nehwal has gained a spot to be at 15th. (AGENCIES)
