JAMMU, Feb 25: Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association (BWA) observed the Nirvana Diwas of Guru Gyagi in the ashram at Shahzadpur.
BWA organized a function to observe the Nirwan Diwas of Guru Gyagi, in which a huge gathering which included locals, devotees and sewaks participated and sought benevolent blessings of Guru Gyagi.
Guru Gyagi Foundation Special Secretary RL Kaith disclosed to devotees that Guru Gyagi used to call meetings of his devotees in ashram occasionally for timely guidance. On February 24, 1978 and Guru Gyagi took samadhi on February 25, 1978. Since then, the day is observed with great devotion as nirvan diwas, he added.
